Russ Campbell has been a member of the Radio/Television/Film faculty and a part of the KNTU-FM station management since 1987. Prior to coming to the University of North Texas, he worked professionally in radio broadcasting with positions in management, sales, news, production and programming at stations in the DFW market. He also taught as an adjunct professor in the Department of Radio and Television, at Texas A & M University - Commerce (formerly East Texas State University).
Russ is a Lecturer in the Department of Radio, Television, and Film; and the General Manager of KNTU-FM. He also oversees studio broadcast operations for the Mean Green Radio Network which produces and distributes broadcasts of UNT athletic coverage.
Russ teaches production courses in basic and advanced audio, and perspectives on radio and television. He has also taught courses in broadcast operations, sales, and announcing.
He holds a B.B.A. in Administrative Management and an M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of North Texas.
